Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, language, and behavior. The goal of NLP therapy is to help individuals identify and change negative patterns of thought and behavior that are preventing them from achieving their goals or leading a fulfilling life.

NLP therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. A study published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology found that NLP therapy was more effective than traditional talk therapy in reducing symptoms of PTSD in combat veterans.

NLP therapy can also be effective in treating trauma, particularly in cases where the trauma has resulted in physical brain injuries. A study published in the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation found that NLP therapy was effective in improving cognitive functioning and reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression in individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

Overall, NLP therapy is a promising approach to treating a range of mental health conditions and can be particularly helpful in cases where trauma has resulted in physical brain injuries. By focusing on the connection between our thoughts, language, and behavior, NLP therapy can help individuals identify and change negative patterns of thought and behavior, leading to improved mental health and well-being.

Patient Reviews

NLP was a game changer for me, coupled with breath work. I’ve done years of CBT with not much change in thought processing but with NLP I felt it put the power in my hands.
